Mahasiswa secara individual menulis makalah ilmiah sesuai topik masing-masing yang didukung dengan literatur berbahasa Indonesia, Arab dan Inggris. Makalah ditulis menggunakan ukuran kertas A-4, spasi 1,5 dan font 11 Arial. Rujukan tulisan menggunakan sistim footnote lengkap. Makalah dikirim via email ke alamat: deden_makbuloh@yahoo.co.id minimal 3 hari sebelum dipresentasikan. Pada saat presentasi semua mahasiswa memiliki makalah tersebut untuk didiskusikan bersama. Presentasi makalah sesuai urutan nomor secara berkelanjutan sesuai waktu yang disediakan dalam tatap muka. Jika pada saatnya ada mahasiswa yang tidak dapat presentasi tanpa alasan yang dapat diterima akal sehat, maka nilai presentasi dinyatakan nol.
STUDY TEXT
Mahasiswa menerjemahkan naskah satu bab tentang manajemen pendidikan yang sudah ditentukan. Setelah diterjemahkan, diberikan komentar-komentar yang dianggap penting baik sisi positif maupun negatif yang terkandung dalam naskah tersebut, jika diukur dalam perspektif kemodernan, keindonesian, dan keislaman dalam bidang pendidikan. Hasil terjemahan ditik komputer sesuai ketentuan makalah di atas untuk mendapatkan pembahasan bersama.
BOOK REVIEW
Mahasiswa memilih salah satu buku diutamakan dari buku berbahasa asing tentang manajemen pendidikan. Hasil book review ditulis dalam bentuk laporan utuh yang terkandung dalam buku tersebut.
